Welcome to Falun Mine! 
In the visitor’s mine our guests are shown round galleries, pits and sunk shafts from bygone times. Dizzying depths and huge underground chambers meet the visitor. Tools, ladders and stepways from olden days are eloquent testimony to the hard work.
Around the gaping Great Pit there are beautiful buildings, wheel houses, shaft heads and pivots.
The Mining Museum fills out the history with fantastic models and other exhibits.
